Victor and Rachel Soria co-founded Protech Cameras February of 2017. Their history of teamwork started long before that though. It started 25 years ago, all the way back to when they met in middle school! They graduated as high school sweethearts and prom king and queen and now have 3 beautiful daughters together. Victor works directly with the customers doing sales, installations and service calls while Rachel handles the marketing, graphic design and behind the scenes work. Individually they have their own strengths: Victor has had over 18 years of working experience in the security industry and Rachel graduated from UTA with a BA in Advertising. Together they make a great team!
Protech specializes in custom designed surveillance systems for residential and commercial properties. They also prewire new construction properties for TV, phone and cable drops, surround sound and security… they even can hang your TV. They service the greater DFW metroplex but are willing to travel wherever needed. They have completed jobs in Waco, Abilene, Mineral Wells, Granbury, Wichita Falls and more but Burleson is a particularly special place for them to work. It is where they started and what we call home. The Sorias love what they do because it allows them to get to know their community and using that connection to make it a safer place.
Protech will custom design surveillance systems for each customer’s unique need, offering many quality products at all price points. Even though wireless cameras are generally easier to install they are subject to power failure, loss/dropped signal, data loss and potential breach of security. Additionally, they offer the ability to self-monitor motion through text notification alerts. One reason the Sorias decided to start the company was to give customers a choice to have surveillance without a contract or commitment. Their customers love being able to own their system without any monthly reoccurring fees. They also love having the option to take their system with them should they ever move.

While they have our tried and true preferred brands, they don’t limit the customer to purchasing their systems. Protech will gladly install a brand that the customer prefers or has already bought. The Sorias gives back to the community through their business and as a family. Protech offers a 10% first responder, military and teacher discount. Victor volunteered as an assistant volunteer softball coach through BYA and Protech sponsored their end of season party at Pirates Cove. Rachel is currently the social media manager for the Hughes Middle School PTO and has been an assistant volleyball coach through BYA. They also actively support local businesses and farmers.
2018 has been a year of full of milestones for Protech, including celebrating their 1 year of business and servicing their 250th customer.
