Dr. Andre Le is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist currently practicing in Old Town Burleson. Originally from New Orleans, LA, he decided to move to Texas shortly after graduating Optometry school. Dr. Le began practicing in Burleson over fourteen years ago, starting with a small office next to the Burleson Walmart and later moving right down the street. In 2006 he opened his private practice, Vision Plaza, so that he could fully serve his patients beyond the scope of general eye care. Since then he has opened four locations across the metroplex, but ultimately decided to dedicate his full time and attention to his practice in Burleson. Over the years, this has allowed Dr. Le and his staff to deliver patient centered care through comprehensive eye coverage that transcends beyond the scope of just glasses and contacts.
His practice provides medical eye care, including the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, dry eyes, macular degeneration, numerous eye diseases such as diabetic eye exams, and those on medications for auto immune diseases. Even with standard testing, Vision Plaza uses the most up-to-date technology to provide the best results possible. His practice has wide field imaging systems that decrease the need to dilate patients, which patients certainly appreciate! Dr. Le performs digital refractions as well, resulting in more accurate prescriptions than the traditional method. He also works alongside vetted cataract and LASIK surgeons and handles most pre and post operating visits. With 360 degree care and acute attention to detail, there isn’t a need that can’t be met.
To further serve the members of the community, Vision Plaza accepts both vision insurance and medical insurance, so no one gets turned away. Dr. Le provides care to all ages, offering eye exams for children as early as 6 months old! Beyond excellent skill and advanced practices, each patient is treated with value and kindness at Vision Plaza. The staff and Dr. Le give each patient personalized attention, providing comfort and assurance from the moment a patient walks through the door.
Dr. Le also uses his knowledge and skills to give back to the community. Vision Plaza has successfully performed numerous school screenings in Burleson and adjacent cities, and Dr. Le serves as the “official” eye doctor for the Burleson’s Lions Club as well. The Lions Club is an international organization known for their great work in humanitarian service, with the Burleson chapter specifically focusing on providing free eye care for those in the community who cannot afford it. Through the Lions Club, Dr. Le provide eye exams and glasses to children and adults that don’t have insurance or the means to afford eye care.
Because Dr. Le practices and resides in Burleson, he feels it is important to be an active part of the community. Dr. Le says “My favorite part of doing business in Burleson is the sense of community our city provides. My patients make me feel like part of their family, and I am able to truly connect with them to develop a lasting doctor-patient relationship. I enjoy seeing patients when I’m out with my family, whether it’s out at Target or eating at Roscoe’s. It’s truly an honor to be able to serve the members of the community.”
