Melvin Roberson
Melvin Roberson is a husband to Nicole and father to Miles, Cameran and Zora. A native of Grand Prairie, Texas, Melvin has called Fort Worth his home since 2008. Before creating Dough Boy Donuts, he worked in a myriad of restaurant concepts and also worked at a local television station and a car rental agency at DFW airport. With just a pipe dream, Melvin created Dough Boy Donuts in the kitchen of his home working under the Texas Cottage Law. Their dough is completely made from scratch using real ingredients. No pre-made mixes or preservatives are used!
Dough Boy opened their first brick and mortar location in Fort Worth in August of 2017. They were able to thrive and survive during most of Covid in that location until accepting a new challenge in relocating to Burleson and opening in May of 2021.
In his free time, he can be found cheering on his Oklahoma Sooners and also adding to his sneaker collection.
