Johnson county musician and local favorite, Andrew Dolan has recently signed a record deal with independent upstart label, The Real & Hook Entertainment.

After 15 years serving at Pathway Church in Burleson as the Worship Leader and Music Director, Andrew has taken a leap of faith diving head first into a full time career as an artist with the support of his beautiful wife, Kyndall, and his 4 children, Gabriel, Kaydence, Gracie, and Knox.

Andrew was born and raised in West Tennessee with a strong background in the church where his love for music began. Andrew and his brother both gained a love for music from their father who was the choir director and music minister at their church growing up. Andrew’s gospel background was a major influence on his soulful style along with the a love for country, rock and roll, and bluegrass. With over 10 years of fronting the popular cover band, The Dolan Band, his musical influences and experience are eccelctic, and help to shape the unique sound he has crafted is his newest original music.

This new chapter of his life began with a desire to write a song for his adopted children, that could also speak to the millions of families who have been touched by adoption. He teamed up with #1 hit songwriter Marty Dodson (Billy Currington, Kenny Chesney, Rascall Flatts, Carrie Underwood) and together they wrote Andrew’s first original single, “Family (Adoption Song)” which caught the attention of The Real & Hook Entertainment. Andrew followed up this single with a full, self-titled album. “Dolan” was released in September of last year and has been extremely well received. Andrew had his album release party in the Plaza in Old Town Burleson and was able to play his new music to his own home town community. The next day, Andrew received the offer from The Real & Hook Entertainment, giving him the chance to fully pursue his dream alongside his family, and share their unique story in the hopes of impacting others.

“I’ve had so much support from my church family at Pathway, and my amazing community right here in Johnson County, and I can’t wait to share what’s next! I’m currently back and forth to Nashville on a monthly basis getting the opportunity to write with some of the biggest names in the music world, share my songs with a whole new group of people, and work on brand new material in the studio. I’ve been very blessed to be able to do what I do for the last 15 years, and couldn’t be taking this leap into the next phase of my journey if it wasn’t for the support of everyone around me. My parents taught me the meaning of hard work and have always been my biggest cheerleaders. My church family have been with me through the hardest times and are perfect examples of the love of Jesus. My wife has pushed me to be the best version of myself I can be as an artist, writer, husband and father, and continues to be my driving force. My kids are my #1 fans, and I’m excited to get to model for them what it looks like to fully chase your dreams no matter how difficult it may be.” – quote from Andrew.

We are excited to see what’s next for Andrew and his family!

There are a few ways to support any artist.

Number one is to follow on social media. That’s how everything happens these days, to follow, comment, engage, and share. Next is to enjoy the music and share it with others. Purchasing merch is another huge way to support. And of course, showing up to live shows and spreading the word.
