I want to take a moment to celebrate my incredible wife, Brooke Mathis. She is the definition of strength, love, and unwavering encouragement. She sees the world through rose-colored glasses—not out of naivety, but because she truly believes in the good in people and works every day to bring out the best in them.
Her dedication to lifting others up, chasing dreams, and making life more beautiful (both behind the camera and in everyday moments) is something I admire endlessly. She is the kind of woman who inspires, supports, and leads with kindness. I’m grateful for her and for all the strong women who make the world a better place.

Sara is very involved in the community and always there to help/lend a hand without ever being asked. She goes above and beyond for her clients, her staff, her friends, any kid she meets, and other small businesses. She is exactly what keeps communities/towns thriving and makes them special. She always puts others first with her servant heart and I can’t think of anyone more deserving.
Sara has given back to Burleson not only as a business owner but as a loving person and friend!! I personally have seen her organize fund raising events for those in need and she is constantly encouraging young entrepreneurs! Many times I have come to her salon Serendipity on Main Street in Burleson to support a young person who has set up in front of the salon! She does first haircuts for free and is patient and gracious when doing it! I could go on!! Love you Sara and very proud of you!

Lauren is the epitome of an exceptional business woman! She sells real estate and truly puts her clients first. Her reviews repeatedly reinforce the idea that she cares about people. She is only 2 years in but has found so much success because she focuses on relationships. In addition, she also works for a high school in college and career readiness and makes a difference there, too. Her two words collide because she brings in her partners from real estate to support the construction & architecture programs at her school. Students can earn an associates degree and she brings in speakers, people for mock interviews, resume workshops, etc. from the industry. She doesn’t feel like she does much, but those around her would disagree!

She has built her company from nothing to over 3 million orders worldwide. Started out because of postpartum depression and needed an outlet, not knowing her company would grow so big! She now has a warehouse in burleson and has several retailers even locally that sell her products. She also pours back into the community, she has helped fund 2 grocery stores for students to shop at for free to help their families, and is constantly helping other mommas who are in need. All of this while taking care of 3 kids of her own, she is an amazing woman that more people should know about!

Ashley is such an outstanding person and great to work with. She makes custom shirts, tumblers, pens, doormats and so much more. She has gone over and beyond to make sure to get me everything I needed and more. I haven’t met one persons that has had a bad encounter with her. She strives to do her best and always excels. She deserves recognition!

Ashley owns/runs CrossFit313 in Burleson and she empowers people every single day. Shes always smiling, doing for others, and helping people reach their goals in and out of the gym. I can’t think of anyone more deserving than her.

Alex is not only a wife and mother to 2 young children she is being an absolute boss babe! She works full time with Johnson County Correctional as their Nurse Practitioner AND has opened her own practice of aesthetic and wellness in Burleson. She goes above and beyond for her clients and is so knowledgeable about her products she offers. She is always taking trainings to better herself and encouraging others to be confident in their own skin. From weight loss to Botox to sick visit she is a well rounded Boss Babe and I couldn’t be more proud to nominate her!! She deserves it plus so much more!

Sara has lived and worked in this community her whole life and she promotes other women and their businesses, as well as the city and non-profits through her work with BTX Brewfest and Holy Cross. She and her friends created BTX Brewfest and she works tirelessly to make sure that it is a fun and uplifting event for all involved.

The reason I’m nominating Deanna is because she has grown a very successful salon full of women. She has grown the business and taught three hairdressers while continuing to work her job, teach hair to other hairstylist in Texas and help in her church.
She was recently diagnosed with cancer and is still teaching young hairstylist how to be a great hairstylist and educating them.

Christan deserved to be recognized because she brings such a fun vibe to
Old Town! Her style & store are always perfect! She also is very selfless. She collects coats every year for those less fortunate & is constantly fostering pups.
