Steve Hockman is a Burleson resident who has over 30 years of banking experience, with 10 of those years invested with Ciera Bank. Throughout his career, he has earned experience in private banking, commercial and consumer lending, with most of his experience in real estate, including both residential and commercial development as well as construction. He has been married to his wife Carla for 35 years, and his son Ryan currently works as a commercial lender in Ciera Bank’s Fort Worth office.
Steve’s desire to serve others in his career pours over into his personal life, where he spends a significant amount of time working to give back. “I just want to be involved and give back to my community,” he humbly says. He has been a part of the Make-a-Wish Regional Council for the past 10 years, served on the Make-a-Wish golf committee for eight years, and has even chaired the golf tournament in the past. Steve has also served for eight years on the board of directors for the Day Resource Center for the Homeless, with two of those years as a chairman of the board.
Steve is also active on the Board of Directors for the Center for ASD here in Burleson. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and finding time to spend on the golf course.
