“When we come together as a “local'”community, we not only lift each other up but also create a stronger foundation for the future.”

2024 has been a challenging year for all of us, and our local non-profits have faced their share of obstacles. From navigating funding cuts to meeting a growing demand for their services with limited resources, these organizations have worked tirelessly to serve those in need. Despite the hurdles, their impact has been profound, touching countless lives and strengthening our community in ways that truly matter.

This month, we’re honored to feature the incredible Executive Directors who lead these non-profits with unwavering dedication and heart. These leaders embody resilience and hope, reminding us of the power of community even in the toughest of times.

Thanks to the generosity of Basden Steel and Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South, this special issue was made possible. Their commitment to highlighting these non-profits ensures that their vital work does not go unnoticed. On the next pages, you’ll find information about each Executive Director and ways you can help support their missions.

As we look toward the end of the year, we invite you to stand with these organizations by giving your time, resources, or voice. Together, let’s show our gratitude for the difference they make and help them end 2024 on a high note.

When we come together as a “local’”community, we not only lift each other up but also create a stronger foundation for the future. Let’s celebrate these non-profits, their leaders, and the spirit of generosity that defines Burleson.
