“Our goal is to guide clients through difficult times with clarity, calm, and respect.”
Since 2006, Lovelace Law, P.C. has served as a pillar of the Burleson community. From their early days in Old Town to their now-permanent home at 283 Market Street, the firm has been a source of guidance, advocacy, and reassurance for families navigating life’s most complex legal challenges.
“We’ve proudly served the Burleson community for over 15 years, building deep roots and relationships along the way,” says attorney Jennifer Lovelace. That longevity isn’t just a point of pride, it’s a testament to how deeply the firm has woven itself into the fabric of local life.
Licensed to practice throughout the state of Texas, Lovelace Law focuses its work in Johnson, Tarrant, and Parker Counties. Their reach may extend across the DFW metroplex, but their heartbeat remains local.
Founded by W. Cade Lovelace, the firm blends big-picture strategy with down-to-earth compassion. Cade, a magna cum laude graduate from Texas Tech School of Law, launched Lovelace Law, P.C. nearly two decades ago after gaining experience in corporate litigation, family law, and appellate courts. He brings a robust legal background and a commitment to client-centered advocacy.
Jennifer Lovelace, JD, MBA, joined both the firm and Cade in partnership. With a pre-legal background in healthcare administration and human resources, Jennifer made the leap to law to serve families more directly. She specializes in probate, guardianships, and estate planning, helping clients prepare for the future with clarity and compassion.
While Lovelace Law handles a wide variety of legal matters, their team is especially known for work in emotionally complex situations like custody disputes, guardianship filings, and estate planning for blended families.
One couple in their 70s came to the firm with a goal: to ensure their estate plan honored both biological and stepchildren. “They wanted fairness and harmony,” Jennifer explains. “We helped them craft a thoughtful, blended family estate plan that gave them peace of mind and clarity for their children.”
In another memorable case, Cade and the team helped a single mother regain custody of her children after enduring years of personal hardship. “Seeing her reunited with her kids and thriving is something we’ll never forget,” he says.
And when guardianship rights for an adult disabled son were challenged by an ex-spouse and his new partner, the Lovelace team stepped in to protect the mother’s legal standing, successfully resolving the dispute without a full trial. These aren’t just legal wins; they’re stories of restoration.
Divorce and custody disputes can be draining, but Cade and Jennifer believe the process doesn’t have to be destructive. “We combine legal strength with compassionate advocacy,” Cade explains. “Our goal is to guide clients through difficult times with clarity, calm, and respect.”
The firm’s philosophy is simple: Treat every client like family. From the first phone call to the final court filing, clients are met with responsive communication, honest guidance, and custom-tailored solutions.
“We focus on real solutions, not just legal transactions,” Jennifer adds. That personalized care makes a lasting impression. As one client shared: “The team at Lovelace Law treated me like family during one of the hardest times in my life. I felt heard, protected, and empowered every step of the way.”
What Burleson Families Need to Know
Over the past year, the firm has seen a rise in guardianship filings and probate disputes. As families age and navigate health issues, the need for proper legal planning becomes increasingly urgent.
“Estate planning isn’t just for the wealthy,” Jennifer emphasizes. “Every family needs a plan to avoid unnecessary expense, delays, and unexpected outcomes. A simple will or trust can make all the difference.”
A common misconception is that property automatically passes to a spouse or child. But Texas law doesn’t always work that way, especially in blended families. Without clear legal documents, survivors can face unwanted lawsuits, delays, and unnecessary stress.
The attorneys at Lovelace Law work to demystify the process, educating clients about options like revocable trusts, special needs planning, durable powers of attorney, and medical directives. Their goal? Protecting their clients and their loved ones from costly, avoidable legal battles.
In addition to their casework, Cade and Jennifer are both active in bar associations and local legal networks. Cade has been named a “Best Attorney” by Fort Worth Magazine and serves on several community and legal boards. Jennifer has received numerous regional awards, is a board director for the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, and speaks on guardianship and estate planning across the region.
This commitment to leadership keeps the firm at the forefront of legal trends while staying deeply connected to the community it serves.
Looking Ahead
As Burleson continues to grow, so does the need for experienced legal counsel rooted in values. Whether it’s helping parents navigate custody, guiding adult children through probate, or ensuring seniors are protected through guardianship, Lovelace Law is ready to serve.
Their advice to every local family? Start planning early.
“Estate planning is one of the greatest gifts you can give your loved ones,” says Jennifer. “It’s about preserving dignity, protecting assets, and bringing peace to your family, no matter what the future holds.”
In a world where legal matters can feel cold and overwhelming, Lovelace Law continues to prove that smart, strategic representation can still come with heart.
