I have seen the tremendous growth of the city over the years allowing citizens to remain in the city to shop, work, or go out to eat instead of driving elsewhere. I also understand the concerns citizens have about higher property taxes, traffic, and public safety that come with growth. Growth is important, but equally important is balancing that growth to preserve the things that make Burleson a great place to be. There are many items on the horizon that will need to be addressed such as the continued expansion towards the Chisholm Trail Parkway, bond expenditures, road expansions, and a major zoning code update to name a few.
I am running for City Council because I believe my business and civic experience give me the tools to make the best decisions to address those issues.
I will work with our citizens and businesses to balance positive growth with a small-town feel. I would appreciate your vote on May 6, 2023.
