As a parent, I can navigate current issues with first hand knowledge and experience. As a mother of 2 neurodivergent children, quality of education and advocation for them has been my number one priority. I spent years feeling alone in that journey. I want to be a source of encouragement to parents like me. As a previous student I can look to the past and hang onto all the qualities that have always made Burleson a great place to call home.
The cooperation of parents, educators and the community as a whole has the power to change lives. As a trustee it would be my job to help nurture these relationships. As a realtor I know the role school district quality plays in property values. We must continue to work hard to make our district a place people desire to educate their children.
I also want to be a voice for our district in Austin and speak up on behalf of our kids and our educators. Essentially, it is my time to serve the community that continues to support my family.
