Born the youngest of four sisters, Jennifer Huffman grew up fascinated by weddings. She watched her sisters walk down the aisle and dreamt of her own beautiful wedding dress. Her passion didn’t stop there; even in college, she found joy in orchestrating her friends’ weddings. However, when her turn to get married came, her experience was far from ideal. The impersonal treatment she received while dress shopping at a large retailer left her longing for a more personalized, engaging experience. That disappointment planted a seed, and 15 years into her marriage, that seed began to sprout.

With experience in running her own business and working in the financial services industry, Jennifer knew she had more to offer. Then, in the summer of 2019, a friend presented her with an opportunity that would change her life—a local bridal store was up for sale.

Her knack for understanding people and her commitment to excellent customer service. She left her job to work alongside the store owner, learning the ropes with the intention of eventually taking over.

She turned her childhood dreams and her desire for personalized wedding experiences into a thriving bridal business, Elizabeth Scott Bridal. Her bridal store now stands as a beacon of personalized service and style, proving that dreams can indeed become reality when coupled with determination and a customer-first approach.
