Her personal background reads like an adventure novel. She learned to drive a stick shift in a Land Rover while crossing a crocodile-infested river in Australia’s Kimberley region. She spent time on a ranch outside of Tibet, balancing water barrels on her back and scything bushes alongside local ranch hands. And in Shenzhen, she befriended some truly remarkable children at a local orphanage — an experience that left a lasting mark on how she thinks about family, resilience, and care.
Professionally, her experience spans family law, criminal defense, oil and gas, appellate work, and property, civil, and complex commercial litigation. Today, she has narrowed her focus to family law, where she draws on that broad legal background to serve clients navigating some of the hardest moments of their lives.
At home, Stephanie, her motorcycle-enthusiast husband, and their 8-month-old daughter share their lives with dogs, cats, 30 chickens, three ducks, and several happy goats — a lively household that fuels her dedication to the families she represents. She proudly served as the 2025 President of the Johnson County Bar Association.
Her office at Lovelace Law tells its own story: triathlon medals, photos of her family and her orange cat named Cork, a Firefly coaster, a set of Dungeons and Dragons gaming dice, a framed “Not Guilty” verdict from her own speeding ticket trial, and a Lego flower vase all find a home there.
